We are seeking to recruit on behalf of our client a DIRECTOR OF AIRPORT GROUND HANDLING on a 2-year renewable contract.PurposeAirport Ground Handling Director plans strategies for airport ground handling services, to ensure that airport ground handling services are aligned with regulatory requirements, evolving customer needs, industry technological advancements, and brand identity and commercial objectives of the Airport. In addition, he shall lead continuous improvement and business development activities with stakeholders and plays a pivotal role in the Airport by making key decisions related to capital needs to meet the commercial objectives of the Airport, he also builds good relationships with senior stakeholders in the industry, to establish strategic partnerships locally and internationally. He will be the Ground Handling Post Holder, responsible for the safe and efficient management of all aspects of the Airport ground handling operations.Qualifications:10 years of Airport, airline operations experience, including 5 years of management experience preferred.Minimum 3 years managing cross-functional operations preferred.Must pass the job-related interview.One or more of the following professional accreditations is preferred:Diploma in Airport OperationsCertifications on Airport Operation.Certifications on Airport Ground Operation.Certification on Airport Safety Management SystemSpecific Skills and Knowledge:Ground Handling apparatus, equipment, procedures, systems, and techniquesIATA AHM and GOM.IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.IATA Ground Handling Agreement and Service Level Agreements.Current technology in GSE, CUPPS, AOCC and Passenger Service.Computer applications.
