Job Description

The Credit Salesman/Sales Executive role in the FMCG sector is a dynamic position that involves engaging with customers to promote and sell products on credit. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, customer service skills, and financial understanding to effectively manage credit accounts and drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and target potential customers to expand the client base.
  2. Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of the products.
  3. Manage customer accounts, ensuring timely follow-ups on credit applications and payments.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional strategies that drive sales.
  6. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  7. Prepare and submit sales reports to management, detailing performance metrics and forecasts.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  9. Participate in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations regarding credit sales.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Proven track record in sales, preferably in the FMCG sector.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
  5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  6. Basic understanding of credit management and financial principles.
  7. Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  10. Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
