Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:? Support for testing, evaluation, and installation of cathodic protection systems to inhibit corrosion on various structures and underground piping? Complete specific objectives with instruction from senior staff on various plant drawings and specifications.? Assist senior personnel in the preparation of survey reports and final job reports.? Make in-field corrections to CP systems with approval from supervisors.? Make recommendations for system modifications as required.? Ultrasonic scanning and flaw detection experience.? Experience on various corrosion protection coating / lining and to identify the flaws and defects associated with it.Duties:? Execute specific test procedures to gather CP data for evaluation? Gather structure-to-soil potential data, soil measurements and rectifier data? Sketch physical features of installation site for subsequent detail? Assemble data for preparation of final report including service recommendations? Provide maintenance of field test equipment and ensure it is in operating condition? UT corrosion flaw detection of plant equipment and piping? UT corrosion thickness survey of equipment and piping? Anti-corrosive coatings and linings Inspection and defects identification.
