Main Responsibilities: - Managing and maintaining core network infrastructure (MPLS & IP).- Providing 3rd level support for 2nd and 1st line engineers.- Network troubleshooting in case of network failures.- Plan, design, test and implement new services, products and projects in area of scope.- Plan, design and implement new PoPs, core links & NNIs.- Provide consultancy for designing customer solutions to the presales team.- Plan and execute network outages & software & hardware upgrades.- Coordinate with providers, vendors & partners for maintenance, new implementations and needed upgrades. - Monitor and maintain core SLA statements.- Documentation of related systems and services.- Continuously improve technical knowledge & skills.Technical Skill:- Advanced skill in understanding and configuring routing protocol operation- BGP, OSPF- Advanced skill in understanding and configuring switching technologies (Spanning Tree Protocol, VLANs, Dot1Q, QinQ)- Advanced knowledge of MPLS architecture and operations- Advanced knowledge of QoS architecture- Advanced knowledge of IP multicasting and IPv6.- Advanced knowledge of Cisco platform (software and hardware)
