Commis I ? Asian/Vietnamese CuisineA Commis Chef should have enough exposure into American/Italian cuisine and should be well versed with Steaks, Grills, Burgers, Pastas, Pizzas, Salads, and Desserts etc. Should be an expert in the grill, must have enough exposure in range cooking and should be familiar using char broilers, ovens and fryers.Duties:? Work under the directions of the Kitchen Manager ? Take individual responsibility of the station assigned. ? Responsible for the quality of food made in the station ? Preferably should have good knowledge of burgers, sandwiches, Rolls, tenders, salads, desserts etc ? Must have the right attitude fit for the industry ? Must be genuine and honest.Qualification and Education:? Graduate/Certification from a culinary/bakery school preferred. ? At least two years in an upscale American/Italian style restaurant as a Commis. ? Familiar with cooking ranges, ovens, fryers. ? Able to work in a fast-paced environment. ? Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks. ? Read, write, and speak English fluently. ?
