Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Vehicles Service Manager to lead our service operations. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and customer service acumen.Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, lead, and motivate a team of service technicians and support staff.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on new technologies and best practices in commercial vehicle maintenance.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance and repair activities for the fleet of commercial vehicles.
  • Establish field visit plan to fleet customers with checkup plan.
  • Monitor and manage the workflow to ensure timely completion of services and repairs.
  • Implement efficient service processes to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Enforce high-quality standards in maintenance and repair work.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial vehicle owners and operators.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and provide value-added services.
  • Oversee the procurement and management of workshop tools and supplies.
  • Develop and manage the service department budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to control expenses.
  • Stay informed about relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Ensure that all service operations comply with safety, environmental, and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on service department performance, including key metrics and KPIs.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improvement based on data analysis.
