Job Description

To produce cost savings, quality improvements and innovative engineering support within the project assigned. The Engineering duties of the company will be demanding with growing focus on safety, incident elimination and equipment maintenance.Duties and Essential Job Functions

  • Coordination of all tool hookup and civil/ HVAC activities.
  • Production of contract documents including plans and specifications
  • Performs heating/cooling and system sizing calculations
  • Develops Process and Control schematics
  • Prepares contract drawings and specifications
  • Develops Control descriptions
  • Mentors and trains entry-level Civil engineers
  • Design site layouts, grading plans, management facilities, follow best management practices.
  • Interfaces with client and internal project management team.
  • Works as part of the project team and to effectively complete one or more portions of large or complex tasks
  • Works with experienced civil engineers to develop design and analysis approach
  • Considers and refines existing standards and approaches for application to specific project
  • Plans work so that broad tasks and specific details are correctly sequenced and followed through to completion.
  • Back checks work for approach and correctness
  • Makes site visits to observe during construction and operation
  • Productively works through conflict to keep the project moving forward
  • Prepares technical memorandums and reports
  • Responsible for Health, Safety & Quality of the function/ Task performed in compliance with ISO standards.
  • To stop any work activity for any safety reasons (stop Work Authority)
  • Carrying out other occasional duties related to the scope of the job as requested.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Develop necessary resource requirements if approved. (i.e. labor, material, controls, software, etc) and understands and implements company and client technical standards on projects
  • Maintains a high level of technical competence in the area of responsibility
  • Minimizing NCR and compliance with internal and external audits.
