Chief AccountantJob Location : KuwaitKey Responsibilities:•Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.•Review general ledger activities and ensure accurate posting and documentation.•Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.•Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.•Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance indicators.•Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.•Coordinate with external auditors for audits, compliance, and financial review.•Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.•Supervise and mentor junior accountants to ensure accuracy and efficiency.Job Requirements:•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.•Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles.•Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial cycles.•Hands-on experience in financial reconciliation, closing, and reporting.•Excellent command of MS Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.•Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.•Ability to manage workload, deadlines, and financial priorities effectively.•Previous experience in the Kuwaiti market is preferred.
