Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess proven expertise in kitchen management, team leadership, and culinary excellence. This position requires an individual who can oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation, and ensure the team works efficiently to deliver exceptional dining experiences. The Chef will also stay current with culinary trends, ensure optimal kitchen processes, and uphold the highest standards of food safety.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and consistency.
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, delegating tasks and monitoring progress to maintain efficiency.
  • Develop and update menus in line with culinary trends and customer preferences, ensuring creativity and innovation.
  • Maintain a high standard of food safety and sanitation in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
  • Ensure that kitchen equipment is well-maintained and operational at all times.
  • Foster a positive, productive work environment by encouraging teamwork and communication among kitchen staff.
  • Implement and maintain operational systems, including restaurant management software, POS, and MS Office tools to optimize kitchen workflows.
  • Manage scheduling, training, and performance reviews for kitchen staff.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and incorporate them into kitchen operations where applicable.
