Job Description

Catering Supervisor* Participate in the negotiation of terms of Requests for Quotation (RFQ), proposals, bids, and services, related to food & catering.* Contribute to the development of detailed contracts with catering services? providers, and ensure compliance to established terms.* Collaborate with catering service providers to monitor portion size, presentation, and quality and health standards.* Ensure catering & food staff adherence to procedures to meet and maintain sanitation and food safety standards.* Conduct periodic visits to kitchens where food is prepared .* Assess catering & food staff needs of food supplies required to carry out the daily activities and coordinate with the procurement and material supervisor to prevent potential shortage of food supplies related.* Supervise the performance of catering services? providers, and obtain feedback from staff to ensure work is carried out to the required standards.* Ensure that the appropriate level of training is provided for all catering & food staff and maintain training plans up to date for all catering & food staff and test their knowledge of procedures regularly.* Communicate health and quality standards to catering service providers, and ensure their adherence to such standards.SkillsBasic Food Hygiene and basic Health and Safety certificates are advantageous.
