Job Description

Job PurposeThe Cashier is responsible for receiving payments and issuing receipts and keeping track for all cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently. Job Holder must provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and organized checkout area.Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Cash Management: Safeguard and manage the company?s cash flow, including handling daily cash deposit, petty cash, and ensuring cash balances are reconciled accurately.
  2. Financial reports: Prepare and maintain financial reports related to cash transactions, payroll expenses, and other financial activities.
  3. Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile cash accounts and resolve discrepancies to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  4. Documentations: Maintainorganized and up-to-date financial records, including receipts, invoices, payroll records, and other financial activities.
  5. Cash Handling: Safely handle cash and maintain the security of the cash drawer in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  6. Communication Skills: To provide good customer service to guests during check-in and check-out processes, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
