Job Description

The business information officer will enable the company to link business and technology while maximizing the value of its data assets. As a subject matter expert, the candidate is responsible for designing and building scalable data models, cleaning and transforming data, and enabling advanced analytic capabilities that provide meaningful business value through easy-to-comprehend data visualizations. The candidate will also ensure the company has systems of internal control that adequately identify, measure and manage its information security, data privacy and protection, and compliance risks across all activities in addition to assisting in the implementation of the security awareness and education program to mitigate risk by ensuring all staff and contractors know, understand and follow the security requirements and behave in a secure manner.?The ideal candidate is a self-starter with wide range of technical skills and is highly proficient in turning data discoveries into analytical insights. This is a hands-on role involving a mix of exploratory data analysis and predictive model development aimed at linking business actions and metrics, market conditions, and consumer behaviors to key business outcomes.?ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:?

  • Understand, reengineer, and at times run processes across an entire enterprise
  • Mine data from internal and external sources and leverage data visualization for ongoing reporting
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and/or patterns in complex data sets using statistical techniques
  • Determine budget, resource requirements and software and hardware equipment needs to effectively maintain and secure business data
  • Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends , patterns , and predictions using relevant data.
  • Leverage existing data sources to create business insights and give the enterprise a competitive edge
  • Collaborate with team leads to identify opportunities for data intake improvements, recommend system modifications, and provide input into policies for data governance
  • Assist in managing the implementation of information security policies, processes and procedures.
