Job Description

We are looking for Business Development Manager, on behalf of our client who will be responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients and attain revenue goals set for given sales territory. Also, will provide comprehensive transportation solutions for customers and analyze needs to create logistics solutions for the customers and commitment to service excellence.Responsibilities

  • Promote services to support and generate sales for freight forwarding services (sea, land and air), logistic and courier
  • Primary responsibility is to realize sales targets and execute the sales strategy as it?s been laid out.
  • Maintain existing customer relations as well as expand our customer base with new ones, whilst keeping your customer portfolio up-to-date at all times by administrating date in the available CRM-system.
  • Visit existing and potential customers to understand their needs and built with the operational team a customized solution that perfectly fits with customers? requirements.
  • Secure customer generated revenues and serve as the main entry point for land, air & ocean freight both internally and externally.
  • Negotiate with suppliers the best conditions adapted to customers.
  • Monitor the progress of the shipment until final destination.
  • May participate in the management of commercial disputes.
  • Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to drive sales.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales.
  • Collaborating with the marketing department to expand brand presence through the creation of suitable marketing materials.
  • Researching competitors products and pricing as well as market conditions.
  • Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales.
