Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bodyshop Manager to oversee our body shop operations. As a Bodyshop Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, ensuring high-quality repairs, efficient workflow, and exceptional customer service. Your primary objective will be to deliver outstanding body shop services, drive operational efficiency, and maintain customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the daily operations of the body shop, ensuring efficient workflow, timely repairs, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with customers to assess vehicle damage, provide accurate repair estimates, and schedule appointments.
  • Assign repair tasks to technicians based on their skills and availability, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and timely completion of repairs.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards to ensure high-quality workmanship, compliance with industry standards, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the parts department to ensure timely procurement of required parts and materials for repairs.
  • Communicate with customers regarding repair updates, estimated completion times, and any additional services required.
  • Monitor and control repair costs, minimizing expenses while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all bodyshop staff.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurance companies and other external stakeholders to enhance business partnerships and streamline claims processes.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure bodyshop performance, including repair cycle time, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective strategies to enhance bodyshop efficiency, productivity, and customer service.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements, new repair techniques, and best practices in bodyshop operations, incorporating them into the organizations processes.
