Job Description

  • Own Financial consolidations with Finance and other departments
  • Define Inventory Strategy and Ensure Execution of inventory strategy
  • Define Inventory Health Guidelines and Objectives
  • (Inventory Health Expiry Guidelines, Storage Temperature Guidelines, Storage Orientation Guidelines, Barcoding. etc.)
  • Define Damage Locations, (Segregate by Damage Types)
  • Define Bin priority for picking and put away.
  • Define Sellable, non-sellable locations and Holding Inventory Mechanisms.
  • Define Warehouse(s) Capacity
  • Define storage priorities across Boutiqaat?s Warehouses.
  • Ensure Space utilization techniques are maintained.
  • Define inventory movement capacity to ensure inbound and outbound are balanced and controlled.
  • Set mechanisms for slow movers and fast movers.
  • Define allocation of PDAs.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy is measured and on continuous improvement.
  • Ensure FEFO and FIFO are maintained wherever is relevant.
  • Ensure a thorough investigation is done and resolving mechanism to the found discrepancies.
  • Redesign the material handling logics to ensure Damage stock reduction.
  • Ensure that inventory is accurate to maintain the right picking of the right product.
  • Ensure inventory checks to find misplaced items.
  • Ensure that inbound are receiving the right product and doing the put-away in the right location with the correct placement.
  • Define Dock to Stock KPIs with inbound
  • Define Cost per pallet and cost per item per day.
  • Prepare Aging Reports and follow up with relevant departments.
  • Define Warehouse Zones and High Value Area.
  • Ensure Stock accuracy to reduce out of stock.
  • Set logics to maintain stock for packing materials.
