Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. The Assistant Finance Manager will be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Finance Manager in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
  2. Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets on a regular basis.
  3. Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to the Finance Manager.
  4. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  5. Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
  6. Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  7. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial filings.
  8. Support the Finance Manager in external audits.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and controls.
  10. Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems and software.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  2. Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred.
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting.
  4. Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office suite.
  7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  10. Strong organizational and time management skills.
