? Unit Head - WorkshopResponsibilities - Is responsible for the activities listed below, but not limited to:- Responsible for job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job scheduling and labor allocation for day to day operations- Regularly report progress on each job- Develop a sort of reports for proper monitoring of section KPIS (daily ? weakly ? monthly ? annual)- Optimum utilization of resources available for the workshop in terms of machinery, manpower, utilities & consumables- Provide/perform FMEA & RCA for the major & critical breakdowns/damages- To ensure that the activities of the workshop are well coordinated in order to complete the jobs received within the allocated time frame, quality parameters, class requirements and budgeted cost.- Schedule the major repairs & major overhauls- Collaborate with maintenance supervisors to schedule manpower and resources for the most effective production and maintenance outcomes- Completion and submission of all required documentation to support the workshop activities including damage reports, repair procedures, performance tests and results, service reports, additional work reports etc.- Recommend the Inventory of all necessary parts- Maintain all the relevant data into the System ERP- Responsible for up-keep and accuracy of equipment maintenance history and job records database- Manage the dealers, vendors & suppliers in terms of technical support/ warranty repairs/ training- To train the relevant team when required to improve the productive team technical skills- Develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work- Assist maintenance manager/workshop manager in budget planning and asset procurement- Ensuring a clean, organized and tidy workshop.- Implement the management and coordination of maintenance operations on all equipment in accordance with established maintenance schedules.- Ensure outsourcing work to third parties, in case of capacity problems.- Check and approve the timesheets of the Technicians and actively monitor the over-timeQualifications - BSc Mechanical Engineering Degree- CMRP/CRL/CM/CMM is preferred- 10-year experience- Strong communication & reporting skills.- Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities- Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic malfunctions- Experienced in heavy equipment repairs, maintenance & overhauling (mobile cranes ? earth moving ? Generators ? forklifts ? manlifts)- ERP experience (ORACLE is preferred)
