Job Description

Job purposeThe main purpose of the Supervisor, Procurement Planning & Performance Management job is to process planning and performance management activities to ensure a proper material availability and to guide department team towards achieving the targeted KPIs.Duties and responsibilities

  • Revise and update the procurement plan as per the set budget.
  • Plan AMHEC?s inventory levels and execute all forecasting and planning programs to reach the best required stock
  • Prepare / measure AMHEC?s inventory current versus budgeted expenditure.
  • Lead supplier performance evaluation and update approved vendor list.
  • Evaluate, select, implement, and continually improve an effective procurement planning system.
  • Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
  • Oversees stock item master, identifying incorrect descriptions and stock numbers.
  • Provides procurement and inventory reports to management.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, prices, and delivery conditions to anticipate future material availability; advise purchasing team accordingly.
  • Collaborates with departments managers to maximize efficiency in the purchasing and inventory department.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory with a goal to maximize efficiency and optimize workflow.
  • Drive visible performance management, use KPI?s to track progress, monitoring actual performance versus plan.
  • Working knowledge of online systems such as Power BI or excel Scorecards preparing.
  • Review and assess weekly transactions to assure the usage efficiency and process optimization.
  • Leads, directs, evaluates, and develops the Procurement Planning & Performance Management team to ensure that the objectives are reached
  • Is responsible for the development, performance appraisal and succession planning of all direct and indirect reports
  • Promotes a highly effective management and leadership style in line with the AMHEC?s values and that supports the achievement of its strategy and objectives
  • Identifies potential successor for his/her position; oversees and implements developmental plans for identified successors
  • Identifies and monitors key Planning & Performance Management functional KPIs, and devises plans and initiatives for improvement
  • Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager
Health & Safety
  • Promotes and disseminates a positive health and safety culture and ensures the health, safety and welfare of self and others
  • Ensures employee health and safety programs and guidelines are developed, regularly maintained, implemented, reviewed, and complied with
  • Identifies any Health, Safety or Environmental risks and recommends and implements measures and solutions to mitigate these risks
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor?s degree in engineering or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in planning, inventory management & performance management.
  • Professional certification in relevant areas is preferred.
  • Working conditions
  • Nature or work may require working beyond standard working hours
  • Physical/ Travel requirements
  • Travel to AMHEC branches within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
