Job Description

Job Title Sr. Investment Associate- Venture Capital Degree B.S in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Applied Economics, CFA is a plus Location KSA- Khobar? Years of Experience ?3-5 investment experience (VC/PE) Reporting to Managing Partners Language Fluent English and Arabic Number of people supervised NA Salary Negotiable ?? ? Overview:The Investment Associate must have entrepreneurial mind-set and wide understanding of Venture Capital & Startup Eco-system. Skills and Qualifications:

  • MBA or Accredited certification such as CFA is a plus.
  • Outstanding analytical skills, proactive and self-motivated.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills (English)
  • Highly Skilled in producing Financial Modelling, cash-flow modeling and investment valuation techniques.
Job Tasks:
  • Perform in-depth market research analysis in order to reach conclusions about the potential success of different businesses and industries and determine which startup should be invested in.
  • Performing financial statement analysis and other quantitative and qualitative assessments;
  • Preparation of Financial projection, Cash-flow Projection and conducting the necessary analysis.
  • Visiting potential startups: to talk with founders, team and clearly understand the business model and process, evaluate the used technology and transform that into report.
  • Search for new interesting startup companies?and initiate the first contact.
  • Deal Screening: call, meet, & evaluate the opportunity.
  • Network with peers in other VC Firms, incubators, & accelerators.
  • Attend various startups? events within MENA Region and interact with startups to spot potential investment opportunities.
  • Socializing with Startups as to increase Ventures exposure and build solid deal-flows. ?
  • Preparing reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text.
  • Presenting Venture Investment opportunities to Investment Committee.
  • Assist in various internal reports, including but not limited to, portfolio valuation, and other requested reports by Managing partners.
  • Work closely with the Value Creation team to improve Brand and provide the assistance to any existing portfolio company.
  • Regular follow-up with existing portfolio companies to assess their performance and look for areas of assistance.
