? A Senior Design HSE Engineer will normally be the most senior engineer of his discipline on a particularproject with full authority to act for that discipline when delegated to do so by the Discipline TechnicalAuthority.? Design HSE is the fundamental discipline which ensures a safe process plant design.? His work involves producing documents that satisfy the Health, Safety, and Environmental Standards andRegulations.? To act as Lead Design HSE engineer on projects and proposals with responsibility for technical quality andmeeting program and cost targets. To supervise and/or carry out Design HSE work on such projects.? To plan for adequate resources and to monitor and report design progress and man-hour usage to theproject management team.? Design Health and Safety Management Plan? Perform HAZOP, HAZID, consequence modeling and SIL assessment? Develop Emergency escape route Analysis/ Layouts? Develop hazardous area classification using API 500, API505, NFPA 497 & IP 15? Develop HSE Philosophies? Develop Safety Signage Specifications & Layouts? To work in a collaborative multi-disciplinary project delivery team, through proactive liaison with otherdisciplines and to ensure integration of Design HSE into the overall engineering design.? To support client to get environment permits from government? To offer advice and support to colleagues and subordinates on development needs taking into account work? Risk identification & management? Fire, explosion & toxic gas consequence modeling? Management of external consultants including QRA, Fire & Explosion Risk Assessment, Dispersion Modeling,Building Risk Assessment, Noise, Environmental Impact Assessment etc
