? A Senior Design Fire protection Engineer will normally be the most senior engineer of his discipline on aparticular project with full authority to act for that discipline when delegated to do so by the DisciplineTechnical Authority. He will be part of Design HSE Department which consists of Engineering HSE & FireProtection Engineers.? Design HSE is the fundamental discipline which ensures a safe process plant design.? Its work involves producing documents that such PFD, P&IDs, Fire Protection Layouts, Plant EquipmentsSpacing, Emergency Escape Route, Fire Protection System Coverage Drawings, Firewater and Foam SystemsHydraulic Calculations, Fire & Gas Detection Layouts, Fire & Gas Block diagrams, Fire & Gas Cause and effectdiagram, Fireproofing drawings and Fire & Safety Equipment Datasheets.? Develop Fire Protection Equipments Purchase Requisitions, clarification with vendor, Technical BidEvaluation and Vendor Documents Review.? Develop Hazardous and Toxic material lists.? To act as lead Design Fire Protection engineer on projects and proposals with responsibility for technicalquality and meeting program and cost targets. To supervise and/or carry out Design fire protection work onsuch projects.? To plan for adequate resources and to monitor and report design progress and man-hour usage to theproject management team.? To work in a collaborative multi-disciplinary project delivery team, through proactive liaison with otherdisciplines and to ensure integration of fire protection design into the overall engineering design.? To support client to get design approvals from government? To offer advice and support to colleagues and subordinates on development needs taking into account workactivities, learning ability and circumstances.? Design Fire Protection (Active) systems such as Firewater mains, Firewater tanks, Firewater pumps, Deluge,Sprinklers System, Foam spray, Inline Balance pressure proportioning foam system, Gas Detection, and FireAlarm System. Design Fire Suppression Systems such as FM-200, NOVEC-1230, Co2, Aragonite, Dry ChemicalPowder and Inergen System.? Design Passive Fire protection and Plot Plan development
