Kempinski Al Othman HotelThe overall scope of this role is to supervise the accounting staff and to assist the Assistant Controller in all areas.Senior AccountantSenior Accountant responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Senior Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. The ideal candidate has also experience collaborating and/or managing a team ofAccountantsandJunior Accountants.The job of Senior Accountant is executed satisfactorily when:

  • Daily accounting tasks are performed and reports are distributed on time.
  • Accounting staff is motivated and fully trained in all their duties and responsibilities.
  • Queries from other departments are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Accounting staff are managed efficiently.
