Job descriptionCharterhouse is working with an International Downhole tools business, which specialises in the design and manufacturing of drilling tools equipment for the Oil & Gas sector. Headquartered in the US, our client is looking to hire a Regional Technical Sales Engineer to join their Al Khobar, KSA office to manage its GCC portfolio.About the roleThe Regional Technical Sales role, will possess a strong network in the region and be able to generate new business using a range of business development strategies, whilst developing rapport with existing customers.This mid-level role will require the incumbent to achieve sales account targets, aligned with the company?s objective and manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring long-term success.The role will require you to create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives, analysing regional market trends to discover new growth opportunities, addressing any problems where required.In addition this technical sales role will work closely with customers, offering tailored solutions, through the organisation?s product range and compiling proposals and reports related to technical products.About youThe client will look to recruit a candidate whom has a clear understanding of drilling downhole products and motors, specific to the Oil & Gas sector in the GCC. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years professional experience and hold a bachelor?s Degree in a related Engineering field.The ideal candidate must possess a strong network of customers and contacts within the Oil & Gas industry in KSA. Considering the location of the role, candidates based inside KSA will be considered as a priority.
