You will maintain and update employee records, including tax information, direct deposit details, and benefit deductions, and address any discrepancies or issues that arise during payroll processing.
Collaborating closely with the HR department, the Payroll Officer will contribute to the implementation of payroll-related policies and procedures, and provide comprehensive assistance in resolving any queries or concerns related to payroll from employees.
Working hand in hand with the HR department, the Payroll Officer will actively participate in the establishment of payroll-related protocols and processes, and offer extensive support in addressing any inquiries or issues related to payroll that employees may have.
Keeping abreast of any alterations in tax and labor legislation that might affect payroll operations, and ensuring that payroll systems and practices consistently comply with the most recent statutory requirements, forms an essential aspect of the Payroll Officers role.
