Job Description

Eligible candidate should have Construction-Housing/Villa Projects ExperiencePosition Summary:The BCC Mechanical Foreman-Plumbing is responsible for supervising mechanical workers and making sure work is completed in a safe and efficient manner with excellent time management skills. As a plumbing Foreman, you are both a journeyman plumber and supervisor and duties cover supervising the assembly and repair of plumbing systems. The Foreman should delegate tasks to workers with his excellent leadership skills and experience with project management. As a Foreman and he should be able to read and evaluate blueprints and technical drawings to communicate specific orders to his crew.Experience and Qualifications:úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿDiploma in Mechanical Engineeringúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ5-10 years of work experience in Construction ProjectsúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿHands on experience as Plumbing foreman position.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Adhering to the project schedule.
  2. Management of all direct resources on site, respecting the requirements with regards to safety, quality, productivity, schedule, contract, and construction budget.
  3. Manage and maximize efficiency.
  4. Support and work closely with Site Engineer, team to the established work projects and deadlines.
  5. Plan and provide a timely response to resolve any emerging issues.
  6. Arrange the area of works cleared of precedent activity.
  7. Have confidence in own ability to intelligently communicate with design team as well as effectively lead the trades.
  8. Monitor and maintain the project schedule on a daily basis.
  9. Raise and discuss relevant issues at the job site.
  10. Monitor site safety and ensure that the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act are enforced.
  11. Maintain and enforce good construction standards and quality control.
  12. Maintain control and responsibility for the security and operation of equipment on the job site in conjunction with site staff.
  13. Control and monitor labor, material, and equipment expenses.
  14. Lead the assigned team to achieve the targets.
  15. Plan & Organize the materials in advance for smooth execution.
  16. ÿTime keeping of technicians in the department for assigned work order.
  17. Inform /report the progress of Jobs.
  18. ÿFollows all applicable procedures and work instructions.
  19. ÿPerforms miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the direct manager.
  20. ÿAbility to read and understand mechanical schematic and assembly drawings.
  21. ÿFamiliar in plumbing components and symbols.
  22. ÿThorough knowledge of the practices, methods, equipment, materials, and tools of the plumbing trade.
