Job Description

A Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs within an organization. They work closely with HR teams and department managers to identify training needs, develop learning materials, and deliver training sessions to employees. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in instructional design, adult learning theories, and training facilitation.Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with HR teams and department managers to identify training needs and develop learning objectives.
  2. Design and develop engaging and interactive training programs using various instructional design methodologies.
  3. Create and update training materials, including presentations, job aids, and e-learning modules.
  4. Facilitate training sessions using a variety of delivery methods, such as classroom training, virtual training, and on-the-job training.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
  6. Provide coaching and support to employees to enhance their learning and development.
  7. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in learning and development to continuously improve training programs.
  8. Collaborate with external vendors and subject matter experts to develop and deliver specialized training programs.
  9. Manage the learning management system and ensure training records are accurately maintained.
  10. Assist in the development and implementation of organizational development initiatives.
