Job Description

Our client is a leading producer of the energy and chemicals industry.They are now looking for a Junior Procurement/Subcontract Engineer to join them.˙Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue the RFQ documents. Ensure that the bidding documents are received within the required time or extend the bidding time as needed.
  • Coordinate responses to supplier clarifications. Organize meetings with bidders and other related parties to negotiate with potentially successful bidders to obtain the best cost options
  • Conduct commercial evaluation of bids, prepare bid-winning proposals, letters of intent/purchase orders. Update procurement status reports.
  • Establish and maintain supplier relationships, including communicating and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Receive and visit supplier representatives to keep abreast of the latest developments, negotiate price, service, quality, or other matters.
  • Identify inefficiencies in the supply chain.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by Party A.
