Job Description

Candidate has demonstrated experience in the hydrocarbon processing units of the oil/gas industry and has experience as lead roles on the major projects. Knowledge of project engineering practices, international codes, standards, procedures, and specifications.Development of Process Simulation Studies, Materials and Energy Balances, Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Hydraulic Calculations, Equipment Sizing and preparation of Data Sheets.?Well experienced in process analysis and using simulation packages, like ASPEN, HYSIS, Pro II, Thermal rating of heat exchangers HRTI / HTFS essential.?Experience shall also include Process & Control systems, Safety studies, Safety reviews including HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, SIL.

  1. Implements, modifies, and maintains chemical processes
  2. Calculates and organizes data for process flow sheets including instrumentation and control considerations
  3. Models processes and units operations
  4. Ensures proper sequence of operation
  5. Prepares specifications and operating instructions for processing equipment
  6. Develops process flow diagram to define heat and material balance
  7. Develops process specifications, e.g. distillation columns, pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and fired heaters
  8. Participates in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projects
  9. Directs activities to ensure that construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements
  10. Maintains effective communication with project team members and with the customer
  11. GCC experience particularly Saudi Aramco experience will be preferred
  12. Performs other tasks, as directed by the DM, to enable other departments to accomplish their function regarding Process engineering items
- SME Process Simulation, downstream industry, - Expert user of Process Simulation tools including HYSYS, Unisim, Aspen Plus, PROII
