Job Description

Applications are invited for the position of˙Instructor, IT˙at Niagara College KSA,˙Leading National Academy (LNA)˙in˙Al Khobar. Reporting to the Head, Academic Program, the Instructor, IT is responsible for developing an effective learning environment for students. This exciting career opportunity offers the ideal candidate a once-in-a lifetime educational development experience in an international environment to deliver outstanding training within the Academic Program.˙Responsibilities include but are not limited to:?

  • Delivery of approximately 25-30 hours of multi-disciplinary instruction per week including Information Technology, Cyber Security, Touch Typing, Safety & Health, Self-Guided Learning (i.e. Study Skills, Life Skills & Thinking Skills) & Extra-Curricular Activities (i.e. Health & Nutrition, Exercise & Fitness, Environmental Awareness, Community Service, and Time Management).˙
  • Plan and deliver high quality, function-based lessons online and/or face-to-face.˙
  • Deliver and model H&S safety messages every lesson.˙
  • Develop and create a learning environment that is conducive to success for all trainees.˙
  • Evaluate trainee progress and assume responsibility for the assessment of the trainees? work.˙
  • Assess trainees in task-based assessment and presentation using detailed rubrics.˙
  • Provide remedial sessions during non-teaching periods.˙
  • Optimize the use of educational technologies to meet trainee learning needs.˙
  • Provide a learning environment which makes effective use of available resources including educational technologies and the NC KSA approved Learning Management System (Moodle).˙
  • Contribute to and use Individual Learning Profiles (ILPs) to inform differentiated teaching.˙
  • Participate in curriculum and consultative committees and team meetings.˙
  • Liaise with community members and engage in program promotion.˙
