Objective:To assist in the delivery, implementation and monitoring of the company?s health and safety policies and subordinate rules, regulations, and instructions.Duties:To advise and assist the Company Directors/Managers and other persons involved in planning, organizing, controlling, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for work.To assist in and or develop and implement the company?s health and safety policies and related rules, regulations, and work procedures.Ensure that the company?s workplace risk assessments are completed for all activities with significant risks.Qualification:High School Cert/Diploma to include numeracy, literacy good communication skills, and an aptitude towards engineering and science.Acceptable technical training in the field of occupational health and safety.NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) in Occupational Health and Safety.OSHA 30 hr. Certification is acceptable as an alternative to NEBOSH IGCAn understanding of the requirements of ILO OSH 2001.Health and Safety ? ability use Health and safety equipment and tools.
