? As a SAP S/4 HANA Developer (ABAP), the applicant will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of SAP S/4 HANA applications using the ABAP programming language. You will work closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications. You will also be responsible for testing and debugging ABAP code and ensuring it is compliant with SAP standards.? The applicant will design, develop, implement and maintain RICEFW objects using SAP S/4 HANA technologies including but not limited to ABAP/4, OData, Fiori, BTP, SAP SAC, CDS and APIs.? The role will work with business analysts, designers, architects, business partners and project management to understand requirements, and design reporting solutions that meet business needs.? Within the Operations Support component of the role, the applicant will respond to incidents and service requests, resolve issues, maintain stability, implement technical applications, coordinate activities, and work with team members and vendors to maintain, enhance, and customize support. Systems and components.Key Responsibilities:? Design, develop and maintain SAP S/4 HANA applications using the ABAP programming language.? Dashboard report design using SAP SAC.? Develop SAP RICEFW objects as per user requirements and test/deliver unit as per project plan.? Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Write unit tests and perform code reviews to ensure ABAP code quality.? Support gathering requirements for end-to-end solution development for Fiori and S/4 HANA for embedded reporting and batch reporting.? Assist the functional project team with draft functional specifications for standard FIORI and S/4 HANA data models and views.? Providing the functional team with necessary guidance for SAP improvements (implicit and explicit)? Work on change and service requests as well as defect fixes across AP, FA, GL and integration modules? Track and improve performance (for existing RICE objects)? Work with project management to document and communicate risks and issues.? Work with local, offshore and third-party development teams to ensure coding, testing, debugging and implementation activities are completed as required.? Ensure alignment with Sun Life SDLC, internal standards and compliance.? Transition projects and process improvements? Support our operational team as needed by analyzing, resolving, escalating issues and preparing reports.? Collaborate closely with our internal teams (e.g., data architects, designers, business, BI/reporting, server administration, etc.) to deliver solutions to business needs.? Troubleshoot and debug ABAP code to identify and resolve problems. Implement and maintain SAP S/4 HANA security procedures.? Stay up to date with the latest SAP S/4 HANA and ABAP technologies.Responsibilities of the Quality Management System and Environment, Health and Safety Management System (mandatory for all employees)1.
