Job Description

Job purpose:The General Manager is the owners? representative in the country and ensures all statutory and legal requirements are met with full compliance to safety and quality.?The GM is committed to achieving and delivering business plan. Is concerned about generating and ensuring a 24 month backlog and efficient operation of the company. Is in compliance with all local statutory regulations and corporate policies, Cares about the growth of the company?s employees and their welfare. Communicates through managing proactively with all reporting functions to consistently manage each aspect of the business.Is engaged member of the expat and local community to drive business objectives and opportunities enabling the business to grow.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & accountabilities:

  • Quality Assurance and Control Management (in conjunction with Quality Assurance and Control Manager)
  • Health Safety and Environmental management responsibilities (in conjunction with Health Safety and Environmental manager)
  • Financial control management responsibilities (in conjunction with Finance control manager)
  • Strategic business main sector management responsibilities (in conjunction with Strategic business main sector manager)
  • Project Control and Commercial risk management risk management responsibilities (in conjunction with Project Control and Commercial risk manager)
  • Program Management responsibilities (in conjunction with Program manager)
  • Human resource responsibilities (in conjunction with Human resources manager)
