Job Description

˙Job Purpose:˙The Food and Beverage Cost Controller plays a key role within the HRECA industry and is primarily responsible for ensuring the cost effectiveness and profitability of our locations Food and Beverage operations. This finance team position is dedicated to managing costs, optimizing inventory and the financial success of our food and beverage operations.˙

  • Monitor and analyse food and beverage costs, identifying trends and variations.
  • Implement cost management measures to optimize costs and maintain quality.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to evaluate portion control and recipe.
  • Conduct regular cost audits and variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Helps prepare annual food and beverage budgets.
  • Provide inputs and data for financial forecasting to help set realistic goals.
  • Check actual costs against budgeted figures, identifying deviations and taking corrective actions.
  • Monitor food and beverage inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking.
  • Create and maintain consistent inventory levels to avoid excess inventory or shortages.
  • Implement inventory control systems and procedures to reduce waste and theft.
  • Collaboration with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms and prices.
  • Maintain strong relationships with food and beverage suppliers.
  • Evaluate the performance of suppliers and negotiate cost-effective acquisitions.
  • Monitor quality and consistency of incoming products.
  • prepare and maintain accurate records of food and beverage costs and inventory.
  • Prepare regular cost management and inventory management reports for management review.
  • Communicate savings opportunities and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:˙
  • Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional Qualified Certification of ICWA, CMA.
  • At least 7 related experiences in food and beverage cost management in the HRECA industry.
˙Location: Al Khobar, SARange of Salary: 8,000 - 10,000SAR
