Fleet Management/Maintenance SupervisorWe are looking for a capable Fleet Management/Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and operation of our fleet of vehicles. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal functionality and reliability of our fleet, ensuring all vehicles comply with safety and regulatory standards. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team of technicians and mechanics effectively.Responsibilities:•Oversee the maintenance and repair of all company vehicles, including trucks, vans, and specialized equipment.•Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize vehicle performance.•Supervise a team of mechanics and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.•Manage inventory of parts and supplies to ensure availability for repairs and maintenance.•Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations for all fleet operations.•Monitor fleet performance metrics and prepare reports for management.•Coordinate with procurement to source vehicles and negotiate service contracts with vendors.•Troubleshoot vehicle issues and implement solutions to resolve problems promptly.•Develop and implement policies and procedures for fleet management and maintenance.Requirements:•Proven experience as a Fleet Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, or similar role.•Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics.•Experience with fleet management software and maintenance programs.•Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.•Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.•Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.•Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.•Understanding of safety and environmental regulations related to fleet operations.•Certification in Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or similar credentials preferred.•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field preferred.
