OVERALL SERVICE REQUIRMENT:Manages Ma?aden projects Engineering function related to Civil fields for the Owners Team during thewhole cycle of project execution through EPCM/EPC and commissioning phases of the project.3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESDescription Performance IndicatorsProject Scope DevelopmentAssists in developing project proposals that include defining project workscope and schedule requirementEstablishes the work scope, prepares the budget and schedule, plansthe work, providing technical direction, and reports the work statusrelative to projects Civil activitiesEnsures revision of projectscope and communicatefinding to project managerPlanning and SchedulingPlans, schedules and provides work direction as required for preparationdesigns, possesses reports, correspondence and related data andassures the efficiency, adequacy and conformance of overall objectives ofall phases of engineering problemsQuality of C&S planningand schedule activitythrough project life cycleData CollectionFormulates the design basis by collecting, analysing Civil informationand data relative to operating requirements, process, economicconsiderations and such other pertinent factorsDocuments againstcompany policies andstandardHazardsContributes to HAZOP/PHA or similar studies at appropriate stages in thedevelopment of the project and addresses issues identified in the engineeringdesign phaseEnsures implementation ofcompany policies andstandardsAssessment & EvaluationReviews and interprets plans, specifications, material proposals andconstruction methods pertaining to civil works to ensure compliance tocontract requirements, national or international codesProvides Technical support and review Project Management documentthrough project cycleEnsures performing of required Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and SiteAcceptance Test (SAT) according with Ma?aden Engineering StandardsDocuments against companypolicies and standardsTrainingProvides technical and coaching training for company junior Civil engineers Objective set through KPIsMonitoringProvides project monitoring of PMC/EPC/EPCM and construction contractorsto assure adherence to design documents and contract documents based onMa?aden Engineering Standards (MES)Assists Project Manager with documentation controls, reports, deliverables,and analysis of project costsDocument against companypolicies and standardConstruction & ExecutionParticipates in construction activities, pre-commissioning, commissioning andfunction test activities for the new projectsAssists in the plan preparation acceptance testing, and evaluation of fieldconditions, design changes, progress evaluations and reportsFollows up and inspects the construction progress of assigned projectsassuring conformance with design specifications, codes and standard,recommend or confirm design changes material and equipment substitutesObjective set through KPIsCommunicationLiaises with other project partners to achieve integrated planning across thewhole programmeAssure the teamcommunication is as excellentReportingDevelops technical and management reports which detail project relatedperformance and contribution in terms of Civil activities to highlight risks tothe project and plans to minimise their impactReports against setstandards4.
