Cooperate with Autism Liaison Team to provide a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach in intervention.
Provide professional social support for cases of interviewing family members to obtain information about home environment, family relationships and health (medical and psychological)
Provide families the needs information and education regarding the narture and extend of disorder.
Provide therapeutic plan that will provide maximum benefits to patients. Helping patients and families to understand accept and follow medical advice.
Participate in planning program and formulating social services policies for the hospital.
Supervise staff, assisting them to become familiar with work with the policies and procedures of hospital and Autism Center and acquiring the knowledge about the utilization of community resources.
Supervise, train, plan and arrange for orientation of new workers and social work students.
Work closely with government and voluntary agencies to ensure maximum utilization of available services by staff and families receiving services at the center.
Undertake any other duties within the scope of social series.
Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee?s knowledge, skills and abilities.
