Management, administration, and support of IT and DCS systems, including installation, software packaging, service configuration and integration with any other third part systems.
Work closely with Automation team and coordinate with IT to align tasks with strategy and vision.
Develop technical manuals, drawings, training documentation, preventative maintenance plans and troubleshooting guides for automated equipment/processes.
Understand all current systems in place and build updated documentation for all systems.
Manages the complete life cycle of IT Systems and automation/SCADA engineering tasks including review of engineering documents, preparation of scoping document, testing and Q&A procedures and ensure proper security controls and change management policies are in place.
Design/Update mechanical systems to automate new changes in manufacturing processes.
Communicate and collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and all concerned departments to achieve project goals and targets.
Understand IT and Industrial systems networking concepts and protocols.
Familiar with programing language and development of PLC programming.
Ability to develop I/O lists from P&ID drawings, programmed PLCs, OITs and HMIs.
Implement IT & OT Security controls and policies and understand latest threats and cyber security risks.
Lead Commissioning of large projects.
Proficient in programming and troubleshooting variable systems.
Document software and hardware changes to ensure schematics and blueprints match machinery and ensure proper licensing scheme is followed.
