Position Summary:An ambitious seasoned Engineer accountable for the development, execution and management of Large EPC delivered projects and small capital projects across Air Products Qudra (APQ) in the Middle East Region.This position is a member of the Project Management Organization (PMO).’PMO manages the execution of large capital projects for Air Products Qudra. The projects can range from > $100MM new capital projects or retrofits, expansions or small additions to existing operating plants and can range between ($25K-$5MM). The incumbent will report to the APQ PMO Director.The candidate will be responsible for managing large capital projects, >$100MM which are executed by an EPC and managed by APQ, from small to medium $25K-$5MM of capital projects which can be managed internally. The content of the smaller projects will be quite diverse including anything necessary to support the plants in real time. Responsibility will include all phases of execution including scope development, HAZOP?s, cost estimating, bidding & equipment procurement, vendor selection, engineering, design, construction and commissioning, as well as project close out (Documentation & ORI). The projects involve a high level of integration with existing plant operations and lend themselves to a hands on approach, with the candidate working in the field to drive a safe & successful execution. The candidate must have strong organizational and planning skills, good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels within the organization.
