Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available forTechnician IV, Applications & Tech Supp based inJubail. Reports to Section Head, Flexible Packaging & Fiber Job purpose:Job holders at this stage perform simple tasks in a research Centre environment under close supervision and also assist with administrative task in the field of polyolefin fiber and flexible packaging. They bring, acquire, and develop the necessary knowledge to perform common practices and procedures and rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.Role responsibilities:

  • Records observations and measurements and reports results. Operate the fiber spinning pilot plant and lab scale to pilot scale film plant under supervision.
  • Responsible for maintaining process equipment in the field of polyolefin fiber and film and facilities as per operating standards.
  • Keep minimum operation supplies /requirement i.e. housekeeping, regular check for fiber spinning line in place.
  • Assists with support to maintain the operability of process equipment.
  • Documents information by maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.
  • Learns and implements a range of standard and well-established routines.
  • Carries out various operation/tests under supervision.
  • Completes projects by assisting project team; attending and participating in group and project meetings.
  • Engages in continuous professional development activities.
  • Continually improves technical expertise and knowledge through experience and application.
Qualification and Requirements:
  • High school or diploma
  • 0-3 years of experience
