Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for our financial operations in the KSA and interact with the financial group in the Middle East and India regions. The Accounting Manager is part of the Gulf management and is the custodian of the compliance of financial statements of KSA IFRS/SME IFRS and international accounting standards as well as taxation.He instills a cash culture through actively controlling and managing working capitalRole and Responsibilities Industrial Analysis in SaudiOversees industrial controlling: work order variance analysis, material ledger reviews, industrial KPIs, BOM and routing accuracy, efficiencies analysis, waste analysis?Analyzes monthly SG&A expenses and plant costs against budget and historical trends, providing analysis for review with management and highlights areas of potential concerns and improvement.Is responsible for controlling inventories (cycle count, FIFO, excess, and obsolescence, returns and goods in transit, lower cost to market, valuation, DIO?) and participates in initiatives to structurally reduce the level of inventories.Actively participates in production meetings, performs plant walkthrough and is active in manufacturing continuous improvement initiatives.Ensures that costs are properly recognized. Commercial Analysis in SaudiResponsible for budgeting and forecasting activities.Oversees credit management and collection of receivables.Ensures that revenues are properly recognized.Participates in management team meeting and support VP of the Region, Regional Controller, and Group CFO on financial decisions.Identifies opportunities to increase the profitability of the business. Financial Management & ReportingTeam leadership and training of junior accounting staff in SaudiResponsible for the preparation of statutory and management accounts for KSA operationsUndertaking of monthly closing activities along with the collaboration of Indian finance teamLeads the local auditManages relationships with statutory and tax auditorsHandles tax-related matters, duties recovery, and supervises legal compliance mattersEstablishes and maintains adequate internal controls over key business processes, including production, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, payroll, and financial reportingJointly responsible, along with the India finance team, for reporting activities including SAP reporting, reconciliation between KSA and Luxembourg GAAP, intercompany reconciliations, and monthly account validation and reconciliationMonitors and controls centrally allocated costs, including management feesOversees cash flow forecasting and cash management activities for SaudiEnsures timely submission of all statutory tax filings and payment or recovery of applicable taxes, including income tax, VAT, and customs dutiesParticipates in financing and treasury-related activitiesSupports budgeting and forecasting activitiesAssists the Regional Controller, VP of the Region, and Group CFO with ad hoc financial analysis and business reportingCoordinates with clients to obtain information and documentation required for IKTVA (In-Kingdom Total Value Add) complianceMaintains records and documentation in line with IKTVA requirements.
