Duties and Responsibilities:?Extensive Safety Instrumented Systems operations/maintenance experience?Safety instrument reliability design, knowledge and troubleshooting ?Familiarity with SIS PLC hardware/application software (i.e. Triconex, DeltaV SLS, AB)?Serve as SME for IPS company/industry standards including: ANSI/ISA-84, EHS-6200, and EHS-6160, ICM-6025, RMS-5700, NFPA?Enforce IPS Lifecycle compliance including project development, design engineering, reliability and integrity validation?Support/facilitate the IPS MOC process and advises on all IPS-related MOCs?Read, interpret and modify P&IDs and PFDs?Read and understand documents such as Instrument Loop Diagrams, Specification Sheets, Hook up drawings?IPS validation (new installation and modification) activities?Maintain the Safety Requirement Specifications (SRS)?Maintain the Master IPS List?Serve as IPS SME for all PHAs, participating as needed to ensure IPL validity?Support closure of IPS related action items from audits, PHAs, incident investigations, etc.?Participate in Layers of Protection Analysis and subsequent SIL Target Selection?Ability to coach junior level technical staff a plus ?Must be a self-starter and capable of working on an individual basis and in a team environment ?Ability to prioritize workload and deliver quality results on time ?Strong oral and written communication skills required?Knowledge of automation/control systems, including: DCS, PLC, Safety Instrumented Systems, function block and ladder logic programming, industrial instrumentation and electrical equipment, and process analytical systems is preferred
