Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Rotates monthly to allocated clinic / ward to ensure staff satisfaction and professional development.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring safe lifting techniques.
  • Competent to perform post-operation wound dressing using aseptic technique
  • Ensures the safety and well-being of the patients and staff in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Completes all nursing documentation accurately and legibly and understands the importance and relevance of their confidential nature.
  • Documents and reports all accidents/incidents to Head Nurse /Charge Nurse.
  • Assists in data collection for monitoring and statistical purposes as assigned.
  • Performs other applicable tasks and duties within the realm of his / her knowledge, skills and abilities.
