Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available forSr Engineer, Process Control (APC)Locatedin Jubail, KSAJob Purpose: Responsible for overall monitoring and enhancing advanced control system of plant operations. Provide operating facilities with required expertise to promote innovative solution, troubleshoot assistance, increase revenue, review & assist capital projects and develop company engineering guidelines & procedures. Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe and smooth implementation of the APC across the complex following the approved procedures.
  • Ensure that the APC applications are maintained, and the controllers are fully utilized to reap the benefit of the advanced applications.
  • Provides input for preparation Department Capital and Operating budgets and monitor annual expenditure budgets.
  • Supports/ leads technical studies / surveys with teams within Tasnee or external teams for the Process Control Engineering and other related issues.
  • Support plant operation departments in implementing and maintaining APC for process units and resolve APC system related problems to ensure safe and efficient plant operation
  • Evaluate any new technical developments in process control and APC in order to improve and enhance existing control system.
  • Contributes to the preparation of engineering design packages for plant modification to ensure the current APC systems will not be affected
  • Administrate and ensure 100% Process History Data availability.
  • Administrate and ensure availability of the alarm management system.
  • Composes different parameters involved in a control loop tuning and their impact on the loop performance.
  • Evaluates new technology and trends in control systems and makes recommendations to deploy in the plant to optimize the operation in a safe and reliable manner.
  • Ensures the Compliance with the OT Cybersecurity requirements as per the applicable regulations without any impact on APC Functionality.
Qualification and Requirements:
  • Bachelor?s degree in in chemical engineering.
  • Minimum6 years? experience in the petrochemical or chemicalIndustry.
