Job Description

A reputable company in Jubail, Saudi Arabia is seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join their team. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety of employees and compliance with all safety regulations within the company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role and possess excellent knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.   1. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with local and international standards.
  2. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards.
  3. Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and make recommendations for improvement.
  4. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and standards.
  5. Provide safety training and education to employees at all levels of the organization.
  6. Monitor and update safety records and documentation.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement emergency response plans.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in safety practices.
  9. Participate in safety committees and meetings.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role.
  2. Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
  3. Excellent knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to communicate effectively and train employees on safety protocols.
  6. Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
  7. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  8. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
