Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Plant Operator to join our team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of plant equipment and machinery to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the plant. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the plant and its employees, as well as maintaining the quality of the products produced.Responsibilities:

  1. Operate and monitor plant equipment and machinery, such as pumps, compressors, and valves, to ensure proper functioning
  2. Monitor process parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and flow rate, to ensure optimal performance
  3. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting equipment, lubricating machinery, and replacing worn parts
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, such as equipment malfunctions or process deviations
  5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment
  6. Maintain accurate records of plant operations, including production reports, maintenance logs, and safety documentation
  7. Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge and skills related to plant operations
  8. Coordinate with other plant personnel, such as production supervisors and maintenance technicians, to ensure efficient operation of the plant
  9. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process improvements
  10. Adhere to all environmental regulations and guidelines to minimize the impact of plant operations on the environment
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in plant operations, preferably in a similar industry
  2. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus
  3. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  4. Knowledge of plant equipment and machinery, including pumps, compressors, and valves
  5. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
  6. Good communication and teamwork skills
  7. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  8. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  9. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  10. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks, such as lifting heavy objects or climbing stairs
