Main Role & Responsibilities:Assist operations manager to maintain highest safety standards at work and to ensure incident free work.Learn operational plans and requirements from the operations manager and effectively communicating them to the sectional supervisors and team/group leaders.Provide feedback to the operations manager and suggest process / performance improvements.Assist operations manager in developing standard operating procedures and educating employees on correct procedures to be followed.Act as the coordinator between different shifts / work groups and ensure that all are on the same understanding and moving at the right direction.Preparing and presenting performance / activity monitoring reports to the operations managerAct as the first line of contact for employee concerns / grievances, not solved at immediate supervisor levelBe the alternate contact for customer(s) and business partner(s)Additional responsibilities:?Identify at risk behaviour and unsafe work conditions?Close coordination with HSSEQ Department to take immediate corrective measures?Educate employees and create a Safety Mind-set?Communicate daily operational targets and priorities to sectional supervisors?Follow up and monitor to ensure that targets are achieved?Focus on quality and compliance to SOPs.?Report non-compliance to operations manager and propose corrective actions?Attend toolbox meetings and safety meetings/briefs?Maintain the facility in a safe, clean, and presentable condition?Conduct SOP refresher sessions as approved by the operations manager?Coordinate employee training activities?Take care of employee well-being and welfare?Coordinate with HR Department on employee related matters as approved by the operations manager
