Mechanical Superintendent - Marjan (Open) and QualificationsPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

Reporting to the Construction Manager, the main functions of the role will be to prepare mechanical datasheets, ensuring work is done in accordance to procedures, codes, and standards
Fully conversant with international design codes for pressure vessels, cooling towers and storage tanks
Fully conversant with materials used for pressure vessels and storage tanks Work on static equipment design
Prepare and check equipment specifications and datasheets
Prepare and check procurement engineering documents, like tender documents/RFQs, technical bid analysis.
Vendor follow-ups, check & approval of vendor drawings/documents and witnessing of factory acceptance tests (FAT)
Coordination with other disciplines as required, ensuring success of multi-discipline project parallel working
Preparation and estimation of equipment loads and foundation load data
Monitors, verifies and reports on construction activities for compliance with the schedule, tracks and reports on completion of project schedule activities and commodity installation.
Monitors discipline construction productivity, progress, and reports to Construction Manager, to Find suitable necessary actions to maintain targets.
Conducts subcontractor meetings to review/assist in daily, weekly, and monthly planning.
Develops and monitors 3 Week Look Ahead Schedule for assigned work scope.
Develops corrective plan to ensure progress and productivity targets are met.
