Our client is now recruiting for a?Manager Tax & Financial Reporting. You will be directly reporting to the Financial Controller / CFO. This position will be based in?Jubail-Saudi ArabiaDuties and Responsibilities? Handling of VAT related matters for the company (mainly for UAE & KSA), which includes ensuring compliance at group level, filing of returns, dealing with authorities etc.? Review Zakat related issues (KSA) which includes, filing returns, responding to assessments, dealing with authorities etc.? Prepare a detailed tax planning document at group level to ensure compliance.? Reviews tax related issues for various regions for the Group.? Review of monthly and annual financial reporting submitted by subsidiaries.? Assist Financial Controller / CFO on various reporting related matters.? Assist in implementation of ERP system.? Interacts with group auditors to provide details to ensure timely closure of quarterly limited reviews and annual audits.? Handle the consolidation process for the Group? Assists the Financial Controller / CFO from time to time on finance department related matters.Experience required:Must? Hands on experience of dealing with VAT, Zakat and international taxation.? Dealt with tax authorities and handled tax assessments? 4-5 years of post-qualification experience? Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)? Available at a short noticePreferred? Worked in construction industry or worked with one of the large audit firms in the tax department? Experience of working in KSA for tax related matters? Experience in ERP implementationMinimum qualifications: Chartered Accountant
