Job Description

Job Description1- Conduct field HSE inspections, surveillance for hazardous activities to ensure compliance with procedures and PTW ? Permit to Work.2- Monitor contractor HSE performance, enforce compliance with PPE, permits, and regulatory standards, and stop unsafe work immediately.3- Support incident reporting, investigation, and corrective/preventive action tracking to prevent recurrence.4- Ensure emergency response preparedness in operations, including drills, and follow up on emergency plan compliance. Ensure the medical aid, clinic is well staffed, and medics are present and trained. Monitor ambulance maintenance records and ensure its readiness when needed.5- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness campaigns specific to HSE activities.6- Provide daily HSE reports for site management and recommend improvements to reduce risk.7- Any other tasks related to field or office HSE improvements and day-to-day HSE work.SkillsStrong knowledge of hazards, proactive monitoring and incident reporting; excellent interpersonal communication for contractor coordination.Problem identification and definition skillsExcellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skillsStrong presentation skills targeting all types of audiences.Energetic management style with pragmatism, and a team-oriented approach, ensuring effective engagement in HSE initiatives.Strong results orientation with a proactive "can do" mentality, focusing on achieving HSE objectives.Basic Knowledge of NEBOSH IGC / OSHA / IOSH Management.Basic HSE training (firefighting, first aid, PTW).Training in all types of Permits to Work PTW, SCBA, Chlorine Management, Firefighting, Permit-to-Work (PTW) and other Site related HSE standards.
