To ensure Material function follow all SHEM applicable standards. Contribute in United safety improvement by conducting behavior safety audit, generating eSHEM report in the system, generating idea proposals.Tracking of the materials that are received in the warehouse and provide inputs for various materials related weekly/monthly reportsTechnical evaluation of materials, carrying out inspection of the materials with necessary assistance of the respective material requisitioned department.Review, ensure & create Bill of Materials (BOM) for Mechanical equipment in the plant and coordinate with project/E&PM team or suppliers to get required information for creating BOM for all new equipment added or replaced in plant.Ensure criticality of spares as per SAP equipment criticality challenges and ensure correctness of data including material type/stock level.Effective spare parts receiving after ensuring proper testing and inspection.Ensure inventory is optimized while ensuring material requirement for field maintenance.Involve in Major and Minor Projects, receive the SPIRs from suppliers for plant Spares Commissioning & Operations Requirements. Check & verify the backup documents and drawings for respective SPIR parts. Collect the missing information from Suppliers (OEM). Recommended the Spare Parts identification and process for procurement action (cataloging and procurement)Coordinating materials, supplies and equipment requirements and inventories to support plant turnarounds, MOC projects and other special needs while minimizing creation of new surplus.To perform related special tasks or assignments as & when requiredFocus and act to achieve department business objective and KPIs through continuous practice and monitoring.To assist department in compliance of QMS (ISO 9001:2000), EMS (ISO 14001:2004) and OHSAS 18001:2007 and its audits.To assist department in identification, monitoring & control of environmental aspect and impacts.To assists plant manager in the preparation of annual maintenance budget.Use of relevant module of SAP MM ModuleKnowledge of applicable Material systems ? policy, procedures & WI.
